Shady Oaks Campground is located in Garden City,
Home of the Blue Earth County Fair.

Peaceful, quiet and relaxing,
the campground is located on the banks of the Watonwan River
and is especially suited for private, quiet camping or for groups.
Canoe landings, fishing, hiking trail, biking, playground equipment,
an arcade, and volleyball offer a variety of activities.

Weekends at the camp feature a variety of special activities
including hay rides, nature walks,
bingo and Frisbee golf to name a few.

 

 

 

 

Closed to public on these weekends:

May 9th and 10th - closed for Square Dance Federation Weekend
July 19th - 13th - closed for the Blue Grass Festival
July 31st - Aug 3rd - closed for the Blue Earth County Fair
Aug. 22-23rd - C & N Dart Tournament members only - Camping on 1st come 1st serve basis. 
All members and their family and friends must pay $10.00 to get into grounds with under 16 free. 
THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONs!!!
